This page covers visa and entry requirements for visiting Saudi Arabia. What you need depends on your nationality. Citizens of 66 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and most of Europe, can get a one year tourist eVisa online or the same visa on arrival at any Saudi international airport. British citizens have two further options of their own, an Electronic Travel Authorization valid for two years and an Electronic Visa Waiver. GCC nationals can enter on a national ID card. Everyone else needs a visa arranged in advance, though anyone holding a used Schengen, UK or US visa, or permanent residence in the EU, UK, US or a GCC state, can apply for the visitor eVisa whatever their nationality. Umrah is included on the tourist eVisa outside Hajj season, and there is now a separate one year Umrah visa issued through Nusuk.
