Thailand entry requirements for travellers from Brazil
Visa requirement summary
Brazilian passport holders can enter Thailand without a visa for tourism and short visits. The current visa exemption allows up to 60 days per entry.
The Thai Cabinet approved a reduction to 30 days for most countries including Brazil, but as of late 2026 the revised policy had not been published in the Royal Gazette and the 60-day rule remained in force. Confirm the current position with the Royal Thai Embassy before you travel.

Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
All visitors to Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card before arrival. This is mandatory since May 2025 and applies to all nationalities. Submit yours free at tdac.immigration.go.th within 72 hours of your arrival. A QR code confirmation will be sent to you by email.
How long you can stay
Brazilian travellers currently receive up to 60 days per entry. A 30-day extension is available at any Thai immigration office for 1,900 THB.
Passport validity requirements
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from your arrival date in Thailand. Check this before booking travel.
Proof of funds and financial requirements
The standard expectation is 20,000 THB per person or 40,000 THB per family. Cash, a bank card, or a bank statement are accepted.
Onward or return travel
A confirmed return or onward flight should be available to show at check-in and immigration.
Health requirements
No vaccinations are required to enter Thailand from Brazil. However, Thailand may require yellow fever vaccination proof if you have recently transited through a yellow-fever-endemic country — if your travel route goes through sub-Saharan Africa or parts of South America, bring your vaccination certificate.
